Move over s'mores, our friends at KOA have a new and improved fireside dessert that's just as fun to make! Campfire churros are sure to mix up the usual camping routine for an easy dessert that's fun for the whole family. Grab your roasting forks, stoke the fire, and pick up a few simple ingredients to take your camp cookout to the next level.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can crescent rolls

  • ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of cayenne, to taste

  • Chocolate sauce, for dipping

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Unwrap crescent rolls and wrap each crescent around a campfire fork, starting at the wide end and ending with the point.

  2. Hold over the campfire and toast until puffed and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.

  3. Dip in butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

  4. Serve with chocolate sauce!

Makes 8 churros.
