Adventure by Motorcycle

We hope you’re as excited as we are for rally season! Throughout the year, our crew cruises around the country with riders at their favorite spots. Every rally is different, but it’s good to have a base packing list to keep you comfortable at any rally. Check out our packing list essentials for some inspiration.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen is a must! Many of the rallies are in sunny vacation spots. It’s easy to get caught up in the cloudless fun and turn lobster-red. A sunburn can make the rest of the rally hurt, especially when putting on your helmet and leathers to ride. With a tube of sunscreen, you can avoid all the discomfort and enjoy the rays.

Sunglasses

Ready for Rally Season - Sunglasses

When the sun is harsh on your skin, think of the damage it can cause your naked eyeballs. The sun at rally locations can be harsh, so remember to pack your sunglasses. Luckily, many rallies feature eyewear vendors, so you can usually buy replacement shades to protect your eyes and look cool as heck.

Rain gear

When thinking about a sunny rally, it’s easy to forget the rain. Many rallies take place in open landscapes where the weather can turn in an instant. Sturgis, for example, usually experiences at least one storm that leaves everything wet in its wake. Make sure you pack your raincoat or a poncho to keep the rally going rain or shine.

Water

Water seems like an obvious essential, but it isn’t always top-of-mind. With so many things to do at each rally, hydration is often put on the backburner. Many on-site vendors run out of water bottles, so It’s good to keep a refillable water bottle on hand. Another option is using a backpack with a water bladder to keep all your essentials together and stay hydrated wherever you are.

Tools

You should always keep some tools on hand, but during a rally ride it’s especially important. A new route means unfamiliar territory and unknown terrain. Without your local mechanic on speed-dial, a small set of tools could make you a hero on a rally ride by keeping you and your new riding buddies going.

Friendly attitude
